Fat is natures fur coat, it insulates your body from cold so if you have lost weight, your level of fat insulation has changed from what you were used to, which means that you will feel the cold a lot more. However…just put on a sweater…and wait for summer!

You Will Have More Energy

Carrying around extra weight takes fuel and energy, so when you stop carrying it about, your going to have more energy all the time! This can lead to you getting restless, so get a hobby…like running!

Don’t Expect Too Many people To Notice

Unless you have dropped 100lbs in a few weeks, people aren’t going to notice that you have lost weight straight away, so don’t expect them to. Weight loss should be gradual and therefor the only way you will even know your losing weight yourself is when you stand on the scales or put your clothes on. Everyones body image is different and how people perceive you is never how you look at yourself.

Being fat can have effects that you would never notice or even think about, but unfortunately we live in a world where being fat is frowned upon and images in the media push us towards having a particular body shape. You will realize this as soon as you lose weight, especially if you carried a lot of weight and have now lost a considerable amount. People will view you with more respect, be friendlier and you will become more accepted in general. It’s up to you how you react to this, it may not be a good thing, but it is a reflection of the world we live in, so be aware.

Whilst, like we said at the start, this should be obvious and it would never normally be a negative in the eyes of any woman, don’t underestimate the fact that you will need to shop for new clothes, especially if you’ve lost a considerable amount of weight. This could well be quite a financial drain as you will need every thing from underwear to casual, smart and work clothing which may include a uniform. Remember that you also hold fat and water in your feet, so dramatic weight loss could even mean that you need to buy new shoes!
